Dr. Jason Niegsch gets my vote for devotion, excellence, patience and quality. Let me tell you why.

My entire family started with Dr. Readhead well over 30 years ago and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He took very good care of all four of us. Then entered this young whipper-snapper Dr. Niegsch into the practice. Trust him? Now let me tell you that I am the one who nearly broke Dr. Readhead's spirit with an all day session of dental work so there is great trust there.

At Dr. Readhead's encouragement to give Dr. Niegsch a try, I did, and have stayed with him through numerous dental implants and other crowns. I have very few natural teeth in my mouth.

But, before you begin with Dr. Niegsch, let me warn you. If you don't like to work with a perfectionist, one who will follow through to make sure all is perfect, not just "good enough" then don't call Dr. Niegsch. If however, you want someone who is personable, not afraid to call it like he sees it, tell you precisely what you need, and is absolutely a perfectionist, he's your man.

I've been with Dr. Niegsch now since before marriage (his) and before child (his) and I will most likely be with him for years to come.

Take it from someone who is not easily impressed, Dr. Niegsch gets my vote.

Getting our young son, Harry, comfortable with the idea of going to the dentist was a huge challenge. We tried visits to several area dentists, but with unsatisfactory results. He totally hated it. Then we tried Dentistry at Somerset.

Dr. Jason Niegsch and his colleagues used fun and imaginative methods to ease Harry into the experience of going to the dentist. Harry doesn't like going to the doctor at all, but now he's totally cool with seeing the dentist.

In fact, when we're having trouble getting Harry to brush his teeth, his dad will sometimes pretend he's Dr. Jason and that Harry has a "teeth brushing" appointment. Works every time.

When I retired from working for the Federal Government for 29 years I decided to take some of my retirement money and invest in my teeth. I have always wanted to have nice teeth. My banker suggested I try Dr. Niegsch at Dentistry at Somerset. My initial reaction was that this is a group of people I would like to work with. They are friendly, smiling and tell you how to take care of your teeth. The last time Dr. Niegsch gave me a shot to numb my mouth, I really didn't feel it at all.

It took a while to get my dental work completed because I had a lot of work done, plus some implants. I would do it all again and I would have Dr. Niegsch and crew do it for me.

I have received a lot of compliments on my teeth and how great they look. The latest was when I was going in for surgery. The anesthesiologist asked if I had any partials or false teeth that I needed to take out. I said no, so she asked to look at my teeth. I showed her and she said "they are beautiful! Who's your dentist?" I told her it was Dr. Niegsch at Dentistry at Somerset.

It's been over four weeks now since Dr. Niegsch finished the final steps of my implant so I wanted to report back that everything is working out very well. I am very pleased with the results and satisfied with the process throughout. Although, as a bicyclist I admit some bias since we think anything made of titanium is cool.

Looking back on the procedure, there was obviously very good communication between Dr. Niegsch and Dr. Kazwell at Ames Oral Surgeons. Both doctors were well prepared and did a good job of explaining the various steps of the implant process. The placement of the implant went very smoothly and was not at all uncomfortable. It is impressive how strong an anchor the bone creates after the implant is inserted.

Needless to say, it's great having my tooth back. It has a very natural look and feel, and seems just like the real thing. I would highly recommend that anyone facing tooth replacement should strongly consider an implant. Thanks again to Dr. Niegsch and the rest of the Dentistry at Somerset staff for such professional care and treatment.

Before seeing Dr. Niegsch, I had developed a multitude of dental problems. My teeth and gums needed a lot of work. When I started treatment, my thoughts about you and staff were that you were trustful and very professional. I was right, because the comprehensive plan developed for my teeth soon showed positive results.

The first major accomplishment was that the pain was eliminated. Over the course of my treatment the health of my gums improved, and the appearance of my teeth got remarkably better and beautiful.

Thanks to Dr. Niegsch and the Dentistry at Somerset staff, my teeth are now in good condition and all I need is regular check-ups.
