We held our annual Give Kids a Smile day Friday, February 27th.  Give Kids a Smile is an ADA (American Dental Association) sponsored event that is held nationwide every February.  We have participated every year since it began in 2002.  We have a great time each year and certainly encourage other area dentists to get involved.

Give Kids a Smile was started to help families who do not have dental insurance, or other resources to receive the dental care they need.  We send letters to all of the schools in Ames, surrounding areas, and other organizations to generate interest.  This year we saw approximately 45 kids from ages 2-18 and provided nearly $15,000.00 worth of free dentistry.
